Christina Kortum has been working in the independent film industry in Portland, OR for several years as both a beauty and makeup effects artist, specializing in prosthetics that hold up under the scrutiny of HD.  As her skills grew and the requests for characters became more elaborate, it became apparent that there was a need for a local facility able to do larger scale work.

Ravenous Studios has officially opened it's doors in NE Portland.  Christina has been pulling together talent and equipment to create a shop that could make the dreams and monsters of local filmmakers come to life.
